Support the Library - Ways to Donate
It is through the generosity of private citizens, businesses and local foundations that the Library continues to remain a resource for all. Tracing its roots to 1753, the Library as presently organized has more than 100 years of continuous service to the community. From your gift, you will have that personal sense of satisfaction knowing that you have helped the Library carry forward its mission - the mission to inform, inspire, entertain and challenge all who enter its doors.
At the East Hampton Library we appreciate every amount a person or entity can give to us. A gift of time is equally as important as a monetary donation. To this end we have many ways in which you can contribute to the success of the Library. Here are the various ways to give to the East Hampton Library.

The Library Society - An annual membership, the Library Society entitles you to various benefits depending on donation level. |
| Make a donation in memory of a friend or loved one - You can make a donation in memory of someone. You can donate to the the general need of the library, or a specific area of interest. Please click here to donate. | |

The Children's Fair - The Children's Fair is our free annual carnival and book fair with children’s book authors signing their books. |

The Book Store - The Book Store features titles, maps and videos about the history of East Hampton you can purchase. These items are perfect as gifts for the East Hampton history buff you know. Visit the Book Store to see the selections. |
| Book Fund - When you establish a book fund you are setting up a trust from which the library can purchase books in purpetuity. For details please visit our Book Fund page. | |

Books to Africa Program - Helping to bring books and education to children a continent away. |
Books and audio-visual materials should be in clean, saleable condition with no odor. Items must be in original packaging (i.e. dust jacket, cases). You may drop off one or two bags of books to the circulation desk in the library. To arrange for large donations please contact Dennis Fabiszak at 324-0222 ext. 7. Please do not leave donations outside of the Library.
Items of historical significance are to be prearranged. Please contact Gina Piastuck at 324-0222 ext. 4 to make such donations.
