Books to Africa Program
Books to Africa is a program to help build and expand a library for the Gariseb Primary School in Sorris Sorris, northern Namibia.
Alexandra Giambruno has been collecting any culled books from our children’s collection and they are continuously shipped to the Gariseb Primary School in Sorris Sorris, northern Namibia. This is a school out in the most remote area of northern Namibia called Damaraland. It is a public school with very limited resources for supplies and our books will be well appreciated!
Elephant Human Relations Aid (EHRA) and the Library have jointly assisted in the renovation of a classroom into a library for the students and community and donations are needed for book shelves, tables and chairs as well as the ongoing shipment of books.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
